Part 1 (4-5 minutes)

  • Topic: Career Goals
    • What kind of work environment do you prefer?
    • Is it more important for you to earn a high salary or to enjoy your work?
    • Would you consider working in another country?
  • Topic: Daily Routine
    • What is your typical day like?
    • How do you usually plan your tasks for the day?
    • How do you like to relax after a busy day?

Part 2 (3-4 minutes)
Directions: You have 1 minute to prepare and should speak for 1-2 minutes.

You should say:

  • What this job would be
  • What skills and qualifications it would require
  • What a typical day in this job might be like
    and explain why this would be your ideal job.

Part 3 (4-5 minutes)
Directions: Discuss the broader themes. Give extended answers (4-6 sentences).

  • What are the most important factors for people when choosing a career today?
  • How has the concept of a “job for life” changed in recent decades?
  • What are the potential benefits and drawbacks of remote working?
  • Do you think artificial intelligence will significantly change the job market?
  • What role should the government play in supporting people who are unemployed?
