Part 1 (4-5 minutes)
Directions: Answer naturally and directly. Aim for 2-3 sentences per answer.

  • Topic: Work or Studies
    • Do you work or are you a student?
    • What do you like most about your work/studies?
    • What is the most difficult part of your work/studies?
  • Topic: Family
    • How much time do you spend with your family?
    • What do you and your family like to do together?
    • Who are you closest to in your family?
  • Topic: Friends
    • How do you usually make new friends?
    • Do you prefer to have a few close friends or many casual friends?
    • How do you stay in touch with friends who live far away?

    Part 2 (3-4 minutes)
    Directions: You have 1 minute to prepare and should speak for 1-2 minutes.
    👉 Describe a person in your family who you admire.
    You should say:

    • Who this person is
    • What they are like
    • What they have done in their life
      and explain why you admire them.

    Part 3 (4-5 minutes)
    Directions: Discuss the broader themes. Give extended answers (4-6 sentences).

    • How has the role of the family changed in the last few decades?
    • Why are friends often so important in a person’s life?
    • In what ways can friends influence a person’s behavior?
    • Do you think modern technology has made friendships stronger or weaker?
    • What are the most important qualities for a strong friendship?
