Part 1 (4-5 minutes)
Directions: Answer naturally and directly. Aim for 2-3 sentences per answer.

  • Topic: Your Home
    • Where do you live?
    • What is your favorite room in your home?
    • What would you like to change about your home?
  • Topic: Sleep
    • How many hours of sleep do you usually need?
    • Is it easy for you to fall asleep at night?
    • Do you ever take naps during the day?
  • Topic: Dreams
    • Do you often remember your dreams?
    • Do you think dreams have a special meaning?
    • Have you ever had a recurring dream?

Part 2 (3-4 minutes)
Directions: You have 1 minute to prepare and should speak for 1-2 minutes.
👉 Describe a time you didn’t get enough sleep.
You should say:

  • When it was
  • Why you couldn’t sleep
  • What you had to do the next day
    and explain how you felt as a result.

Part 3 (4-5 minutes)
Directions: Discuss the broader themes. Give extended answers (4-6 sentences).

  • Why is sleep important for a person’s health and well-being?
  • How does modern life affect people’s sleep patterns?
  • What can employers do to ensure their employees get enough rest?
  • Why do some people suffer from sleep disorders?
  • Do you think people are getting less sleep now than in the past?
