Part 1 (4-5 minutes)

  • Topic: Reading Habits
    • How often do you read for pleasure?
    • Do you prefer fiction or non-fiction books?
    • Has your taste in books changed as you’ve grown older?
  • Topic: E-books
    • Do you prefer reading physical books or e-books?
    • What are the advantages of e-books?
    • Do you think physical books will disappear in the future?

Part 2 (3-4 minutes)
Directions: You have 1 minute to prepare and should speak for 1-2 minutes.
👉 Describe a book that had a major influence on you.
You should say:

  • What the book is called and who wrote it
  • What the book is about
  • When you read it
    and explain how this book influenced you.

Part 3 (4-5 minutes)
Directions: Discuss the broader themes. Give extended answers (4-6 sentences).

  • Why are some books considered classics while others are forgotten?
  • How has technology changed reading habits?
  • What are the benefits of reading paper books compared to e-books?
  • Why do some people prefer watching movie adaptations rather than reading books?
  • Do you think reading will remain popular in the future?
