Part 1 (4-5 minutes)

- Do you prefer large parties or small gatherings for celebrations?
Part 2 (3-4 minutes)
Directions: You have 1 minute to prepare and should speak for 1-2 minutes.
👉 Describe a gift you gave to someone that took a long time to choose.
You should say:
- What the gift was
- Who you gave it to
- Why it took you so long to choose
and explain how the person reacted to your gift.
Part 3 (4-5 minutes)
Directions: Discuss the broader themes. Give extended answers (4-6 sentences).
- Why do people give gifts to each other?
- How have gift-giving customs changed over time?
- Is gift-giving an important part of a country’s culture?
- What is the difference between gifts given to children and gifts given to adults?
- Do you think expensive gifts are always better than thoughtful ones?
