  • Topic: Mental Wellness
    • What do you do to maintain your mental wellbeing?
    • Do you think society takes mental health as seriously as physical health?
    • Has the conversation around mental health changed in recent years?

Part 2 (3-4 minutes)
Directions: You have 1 minute to prepare and should speak for 1-2 minutes.
👉 Describe an activity that helps you relax and reduce stress.
You should say:

  • What the activity is
  • Where and when you usually do it
  • How you learned to do it
    and explain why it is so effective at helping you relax.

Part 3 (4-5 minutes)
Directions: Discuss the broader themes. Give extended answers (4-6 sentences).

  • Why is there a growing awareness of mental health issues among young adults?
  • How does social media affect the mental health of young people?
  • What can schools and universities do to better support student mental health?
  • Should employers be responsible for the mental wellbeing of their employees?
  • How can we reduce the stigma associated with talking about mental health?
