Part 1 (4-5 minutes)

  • Topic: Money

  • Topic: Saving
    • Are you good at saving money?
    • What do you usually save money for?
    • What is the most expensive thing you have ever bought?

Part 2 (3-4 minutes)
Directions: You have 1 minute to prepare and should speak for 1-2 minutes.
👉 Describe something you saved money for a long time to buy.
You should say:

  • What you wanted to buy
  • Why you wanted it
  • How long you saved for it
    and explain how you felt when you finally bought it.

Part 3 (4-5 minutes)
Directions: Discuss the broader themes. Give extended answers (4-6 sentences).

  • Why do some people find it difficult to save money?
  • How has the way people manage money changed in recent years?
  • What are the advantages and disadvantages of cashless society?
  • Should financial education be compulsory in schools?
  • How do advertising and social media influence people’s spending habits?
