Part 1 (4-5 minutes)

  • Topic: Music

  • Topic: Movies
    • How often do you watch movies?
    • What kind of movies do you like?
    • Do you prefer watching movies at home or in a cinema?

Part 2 (3-4 minutes)
Directions: You have 1 minute to prepare and should speak for 1-2 minutes.
👉 Describe a song or piece of music that is meaningful to you.
You should say:

  • What song/music it is
  • When you first heard it
  • What it is about
    and explain why it is meaningful to you.

Part 3 (4-5 minutes)
Directions: Discuss the broader themes. Give extended answers (4-6 sentences).

  • How does music influence people’s moods?
  • Why is the film industry so powerful in many countries?
  • What are the benefits of a country having a strong film and music industry?
  • Do you think international music and films are eroding local cultures?
  • How has technology changed the way people consume music and films?
