Part 1 (4-5 minutes)

    • How has technology made your life easier?
    • Is there any technology you find annoying?

Part 2 (3-4 minutes)
Directions: You have 1 minute to prepare and should speak for 1-2 minutes.
👉 Describe a scientific development that you find interesting.
You should say:

  • What the development is
  • How you learned about it
  • What it is used for
    and explain why you find this development interesting.

Part 3 (4-5 minutes)
Directions: Discuss the broader themes. Give extended answers (4-6 sentences).

  • How has science improved our quality of life?
  • What are the potential dangers of rapid technological advancement?
  • Should there be limits on scientific research?
  • How can we encourage more young people to pursue careers in science?
  • Do you think artificial intelligence will eventually surpass human intelligence?
